The Rapture Theory

What is the rapture? Where is it in the Bible?

It is frightening what is taught in many churches these days. Satan does more harm using the pulpit than just about anything else. It is simply astonishing how many believe in the so called rapture and are sold out to this teaching. The teaching that will cause more Christians to end up worshipping satan than anything else because of all the teachers that bought the lie and teach their entire congregation to follow it. You know the old saying, if you tell a lie for long enough it becomes the truth.

It reminds me of how Paul was sold out to keeping the traditions of the Jews and fully supported the persecution and killing of Christians because he did not recognize who Jesus was. He did not get it until he was struck down by Christ on his way to persecute more Christians. What will it take for some today to see the rapture for what it really is? It’s a lie, a very dangerous lie to say the least. I call it the doctrine of the devil.

The reality is that Gods plan is quite simple, but some teachers seem to love to complicate things and make Gods word difficult and of none affect.

God gave us His word so we could all get to know what His will is and what His plan is so we could glorify Him and be prepared so we are not deceived. If you know what Gods plan is and how it is going down then you will have no problem determining the difference between what is true and what is a lie. The lie will not fool you. In fact the lie is an abomination to you. Do you know the key of David?

Here is God’s plan of how it will go down in the tribulation in a nutshell. There are 7 seals, 7 trumps and 7 vials. The seals, trumps and vials are really all one and the same but a different perspective of each. In other words there are seven events total each with three different ways God gives us to look at them. All seven of these events Christ gives us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.  As Christ said, Behold, I have foretold you all things (Mark 13:23).

Now, we know that Christ comes back on the seventh trump which is also the LAST trump. We also know that satan is going to come at some point, so satan’s coming has to be before this seventh and final trump. Note, I use trumps for simplicity sake because they are in chronological order, but keep in mind each trump is tied to a seal and a vial.

When does satan come? Satan comes de-facto to the Earth on the 6th seal, 6th trump, 6th vial. That’s right, he comes on 666. Sound familiar? Satan comes as the false messiah. He IS the anti-Christ. Revelation 12:9. Please understand this and clear from your mind the non-sense that the anti-Christ is some man born of a woman. This word “anti” according to the Strong’s exhaustive concordance means “instead of”. This changes the whole meaning. Satan comes as the “instead of” Christ! He is coming first to try and deceive you into thinking he is Christ but if you are familiar with God’s word you will not be fooled. He cannot fool those who know this “first to come” is not Christ.

But what about the rapture? Those the believe the rapture teaching will more than likely be deceived because they have been taught that they will be taken away by Christ first, BEFORE satan comes, so when satan comes first instead what do you think they will do? Most of them won’t stand a chance because they have been convinced that they will not have to endure the tribulation and they will be taken away. They don’t understand that the tribulation (satan’s tribulation) will become the biggest church revival the world has ever seen. Quite the opposite of what most are taught about Revelation. So, when satan comes first claiming to be Christ they will believe it because they believe they HAVE to be taken away first. Also, keep in mind, satan is coming to play Christ and will come in a way that most think Christ will come and he will look and act like most expect Christ to look and act. So, according to the rapture believers, this one can’t be satan, otherwise their belief was wrong and the rapture was a lie. To most of the rapture believers this will not even occur to them. They are so locked and loaded and ready to go that satan will have no trouble convincing them that he is Christ. Matthew 24:21-22.

In 1 Corinthians 15:52 it says that when Christ returns we will be changed to our spiritual bodies in an instant. Some rapture believers think that if someone comes first claiming to be Christ and they have not been changed to their spiritual bodies then they will not believe him. This thinking can also be very dangerous because satan is going to be so very convincing that if you are not pretty much 100% convinced that he is coming first to deceive the world then you will more than likely be fooled. Why do I say this? What did Christ say about these end times? That it will be more difficult than any time has even been or ever will be. Know why? Because satan will be coming just like most expect Christ will come, as satan is supernatural and will be able to perform miracles in the sight of men that would deceive even the elect if it were possible. Matthew 24:22-24, Mark 13:22.

What is satan coming to do? He is not coming to destroy the world and kill everyone who is a Christian. That would fool no one. He will not be forcing everyone to get stamped with a 666 on their forehead or hand as that also would fool no one. He is coming peacefully and prosperously. Daniel 11:21. He is coming to “save” you. He is coming to LOVE you to death. Thank God it won’t be possible to deceive the elect because they will have the seal of God IN their forehead (in their brain as what they believe).

Unfortunately the rest will be deceived because they have the mark of the beast IN their foreheads (mark in the forehead as to what they believe) (Revelation 9:4) and will be drunken with the lie of satan and will work with their hands (mark in the hands) to promote the devil because they don’t know who he is. They think he is Christ! They are so convinced that they will be “raptured” away before satan gets here that he will have no difficulty fooling them into thinking that he is Christ.

You should know that the Bible says that Christ will come when people least expect Him. Well, if people think that Christ is already here then why would they think He is still to come? When they think He is already here THIS is when they will least expect Him! Wow! What a set up! Satan has them thoroughly fooled with his doctrine commonly referred to as the “rapture!” I Thessalonians 5:2-3.

So, what can we say about the rapture – the idea that Christ could come back at any moment and take all His people away before the tribulation? Lets’ see what God says about it, that is, the Bible.

Simply put, the pre-tribulation rapture is the belief that Jesus Christ could return at any moment, and when He does, those that believe in Him as the Son of God and as their savior, will be sucked off the face of the Earth and float in the sky to meet Jesus in the air and go off to Heaven, only to return after the tribulation ends. The pre-trib rapture belief is founded mostly on the scripture in I Thessalonians 4:13-17.

Let’s examine that part of scripture, I Thessalonians 4:13-17. What is being discussed? Paul is telling the church to be careful not to be ignorant like the heathen as to where the dead are. Paul tells them that if you believe that Christ rose from the dead then you must believe the dead will also rise. The subject is where the dead are. The answer is they are with Christ in Heaven because to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8. When we die we are done with the flesh and are back into our spiritual bodies and will never again need another body. Just as Christ said when He returns on the seventh trump that everyone that remains will be changed to their spiritual bodies instantly. This is because flesh and blood cannot enter into Heaven. We must be in our spiritual bodies to be in heaven, 1 Corinthians 15:52-54. Where is Heaven? Wherever God is.

II Thessalonians 2:7 is often quoted in support of the rapture, stating that the church is the one that will be taken out of the way. (hint: it’s satan that is taken out of the way when he is cast out of Heaven onto the earth.) Let’s look at Luke 21:36. The escape Luke talks about is through knowledge of God’s word and that knowledge being that Christ only comes after satan makes his appearance. So, if you know the truth you will escape the tribulation of being deceived. THAT is how you escape, with the knowledge of the word of TRUTH. Not by flying or running away. Hosea 4:6.

  1) The word “rapture” cannot be found in the Bible. The rapture theory is a tradition of men that was started in 1830 by a woman by the name of Margaret McDonald in Port Glasgow, Scotland.  This “any moment” doctrine was quickly picked up by two big time pastors at that time, Irving and Darby, and since then the tradition has spread all over the world including the USA. This has been thoroughly documented in a book by Dave McPherson written in the 1970’s with the title “The incredible cover up”. It is a step by step account of his research and findings on this subject. Amazingly, many big time pastors and teachers today make up lies about him and his research because they cannot stand the idea of the rapture being false. Perhaps because of what it would mean for them to have to change their mind and admit they were wrong about such an important topic. They are locked and loaded and ready to fly. What a tragedy!

  2) II Thessalonians 2:1-12 – Paul writes a second letter to these people concerning the return of Christ and the gathering back to Him. He writes to clarify himself and to stop the confusion that apparently came from his first letter, I Thessalonians, as to when Christ will return. He says, it will NOT happen until AFTER that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition! (II Thessalonians 2:3) The son of perdition is only one possible being and that is satan (Ezekiel 28:13-19). He is the only one sentenced by God before judgment day to perish. Also there will be a falling away first. The falling away is the great apostasy (Gr. apostasia) which is the belief that satan (the antichrist) is Christ and to worship him as Christ. This word falling away can only mean apostasy. In NO way can it mean rapture. It seems some people have a hard time accepting that they are wrong about the so called rapture and would rather fight against God than to humble themselves and admit they are wrong.

Wow! What a set up! If you believe that Christ will come to rapture you away, then satan has already got you marked! You will fly to him when he comes in all his glory – or so it seems glorious – to take his people away. This is exactly the opposite of what Christ said to do when this one comes to Mt Zion claiming to be God. He will be the false christ and guess what his message will be, something along the lines of “We’re going to fly out of here but first go get any of your friends and family that do not believe and bring them to me.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) This is when the delivering up of the elect happens. This is also when the Holy Spirit will speak thru the elect in every language at the same time thus causing everyone to hear the truth spoken in their own language. This can only be accomplished by the Holy Spirit. Some will come to Christ at this time, perhaps because they heard one of the elect speak of this before, but they didn’t quite get it then.

  3) I Thessalonians 4:13-17 – We will meet Christ in the air. Look up this word “air” in the Strong’s concordance. It’s the breath of life spiritual body, nothing to do with the sky! I Corinthians 15:52 – We will be changed to our spiritual bodies instantly when Christ returns. There will be no hesitating or waiting time. It is instantaneous. Don’t be confused by the ignorance of those that say this word air is the sky. It is not. It is your spiritual body. We will meet Christ in our spiritual bodies. (Strong's Concordance: Greek 109 - aer - to breath unconsciously, i.e. respire...)

  4) Revelation 20:2-3, Luke 10:18 – The antichrist (satan) is not a man born of a woman. He will be coming as a supernatural entity thus EASILY fooling all those that do not have the Seal of God IN their forehead, that is, the knowledge that satan is the antichrist and comes first to deceive the whole world. This knowledge is the key of David.

Man is not prepared to deal with a supernatural being and will believe this one is GOD or Christ! Satan will come in the same way that Jesus will be coming to try and fool you. He will look like God to most. He is coming to do one thing and that is to deceive you into believing that HE is Christ, Mark 13:14. What do you think he will be saying when he gets here? My guess is that he will say “I am here to rapture you out but let’s try and convince those that still don’t believe.” This is when the unlearned will help deliver up the elect to satan because they think he is Christ ready to rapture them out.

  5) Revelation 11:3-16 – The two witnesses from God will be here to help those with the seal of God to get through the tribulation and will have special powers. But they, the two witnesses, will be killed by the false christ (satan) and all those that think satan is Christ will celebrate about this because these witnesses tormented them with the sword of the truth which they did not recognize. But after three days the two witnesses that were killed and are being closely watched will rise up and come back to life. This is when the REAL Christ returns and everyone will be instantly changed to their spiritual bodies. Then a paralyzing fear will come upon all that were deceived. Then all those deceived, including the rapture believers, will begin weeping and gnashing their teeth because of their shame – they were worshipping SATAN!

What does the Bible say? Christ will return on the SEVENTH TRUMP (7th). This is also the LAST trump (I Corinthians 15:52). Christ returning at ANY time before this 7th, LAST trump, is NEVER mentioned! It is only on the LAST (7th) trump, the trump of God, that His return will take place! His coming before then is a tradition of men and is the great deception that has captured much of the Christian church today that teaches the rapture.

So the idea that Christ could return at any moment is not scriptural and is a very dangerous lie. I call it the doctrine of the devil because he was the inventor of this false teaching as a way to deceive the Christians when he comes. He has no need to deceive the non-believers as they are already deceived and will buy his lie with little to no effort. The Christians that follow the any moment doctrine are supposed to know better but instead will become drunken with the lies of satan largely because of the rapture teaching. They think he is Christ!

  6) I Thessalonians 5:1-3, 2 Peter 3:10 – The Lord will come as a thief in the night. Why will the Lord come as a thief in the night? The rapture people think it means that He will come at any time when you are not necessarily expecting Him. Well, they are partly right because they, the rapture believers, will not be expecting Him. Why? Because all the people in the world except for His elect will be worshipping satan thinking that he is Christ, so why would they think Christ is yet to come when they think he is ALREADY HERE? This will be the time that they least expect Him. And then, WHAM! Christ’s return will instantly reveal satan for who he is and those worshipping satan will be astonished and wish to die.

I say it again, what a set up! Satan has them fooled using the rapture teaching as his means to the end. These teachers who think they are doing well are aligning with satan and will cause their entire congregations to follow along to worship SATAN.

Realizing this, the pastors that taught this rapture stuff will be so devastated that they will want to die from the shame and embarrassment. What a sad day that will be for so many good people that mean well but followed false teachings because it was so popular and believed by so many big time preachers held in high regard. They seem to work overtime making the Bible conform to their rapture tradition.

Don’t take any mans word for it. Check out God’s Word for yourself without any preconceived beliefs and you will see that this so called rapture does not exist in the Bible. In fact, I think that if you were a student of the Bible and had never heard of the rapture teaching you would never come up with the idea. I say this because it, a rapture, does not exists in God’s word.  Hold out for the REAL Jesus and do not be taken out of season. (Matthew 24:13).

  7) Amos 8:11 – The famine of the end times is not for food or water but for the TRUTH! The truth of God’s Word. Most churches will be fooled and will fall prey to this one and will be part of the great harlot spoken of in Revelations 17:1-7. The church is NOT taken out to be raptured away. Is it possible the church becomes the great HARLOT that is worshipping satan because of the false teaching that they have been taught. If these people are not God’s people then why would He call them a Harlot if they are not supposed to be espoused to Him? It's something to consider. This is the tragedy of the rapture teaching. It is indeed a sad day that will come to pass. How many pastors today would admit they are wrong about the rapture and tell their congregation this? Not to mention telling their friends in high places that believes this teaching. It would be a difficult thing to admit, or concede, especially after teaching this stuff for many years to many, many people, but it’s your soul my friend. Think about it. How many have you led astray already with this teaching?

Summing it up.
The escape plan that most pastors teach today is a lie. What are they running from? God says that He will take care of us during the tribulation and not one hair on our head will perish (Luke 21:12-19). We have nothing to fear for God is not angry with us, His elect. Look at Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace. Not even singed while in the middle of it all. It will be just like that for us who stand against satan during his tribulation. Christians are to be strong and stand against this one, satan, and his followers. We have God on our side. He will protect us during this time of great deception.

The book of Revelation can almost be summed up in one word, deception. Revelation uses many metaphors and figures of speech and one of the main themes of it is “deception.” Contrary to what many pastors teach, the tribulation will be the biggest “church” revival the world has ever seen. Because of their misunderstanding of what God is trying to convey they teach that satan is coming to make war and kill millions of people and cause great destruction. They don’t understand that this is all to do with his deception. He is coming to make war with the truth and kill millions with his lies. Satan is coming to fool you, not to kill you and destroy the world. He wants your soul and he plans to do that with great deception and trickery (miracles that he is able to perform.) He knows he has a short time and is sentenced to death so he wants to take as many as he can with him. He thinks he is so mighty that perhaps he might be able to overcome God and that God will give up when He sees so many of his people worshipping him, satan. He, satan, hopes to LOVE you to death.

Please read Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and II Thessalonians 2 very slowly without the preconceived idea that there is a rapture and you will see that it, the rapture, does not fit. God, Jesus and Paul all spoke against such teaching.  God: Ezekiel 13:16-23, Jesus:  Mark 13:15-23, Paul: II Thessalonians 2:1-3, to name a few places. Remember, in I Corinthians 15:52, it says when Christ returns we will all be changed to our spiritual bodies in a twinkling of an eye. So, if someone claims to be Christ and you are still in the flesh then this one is a LIAR.  Don’t be fooled by some ignorant person or church system. The rapture belief is a MARK OF THE BEAST! That’s right. We as Christians will have work to do so don’t be fooled by satan! No pastor or church system can save you (thank God for churches that teach the truth!) Read the Bible for yourself and make up your own mind and ALWAYS check things out in God’s word (I John 4:1). No one is going anywhere except to satan as a harlot (Revelation 17:3-6) thanks to all the rapture teaching pastors.

So, can Christ return at any moment? NOPE! Not according to the Bible. Not until satan comes claiming to be Christ and fools ALL the world except for a few, His elect. Are you one of the elect? If you know satan comes first and you do not worship him when he comes then you are. The elect are not special people but are those that stood against satan during the over throw when satan fell.

There is so much more that could be said about this, so if you would like a much deeper study then you can call this number to receive a free CD that teaches what the Mark of the Beast is. (1-800-643-4645)

I hope this has put a fire in you if you do believe in the rapture so you will search the scriptures WITHOUT any preconceived ideas and let Gods word speak alone.
