2 Timothy 2:15

How can I be saved

Probably the most recognized verse in the entire Bible tells the whole story regarding salvation.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God loves all people as we are all His children. But, since we are all sinners (Romans 3:23), none of us are worthy of receiving eternal life with Him and are therefore condemned to be cast into the lake of fire. But, there is good news! Great news! God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten son, Jesus, to be the ultimate sacrifice and provided a way for all to be saved from the lake of fire. Jesus, the perfect man, that had no sin, was crucifed on a cross and ultimately died for our sins and three days later arose from the dead and thus paved the way so that anyone who believes on Him, that He is the son of God, and repents of their sins, will be saved.

Romans 4:7-8
Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
